Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge - Urban Waters Clean-up

Come make a difference for Minnesota wildlife with staff from the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. Learn about the Community Science App Literatti and how you can help pinpoint the types and locations of litter problems on the refuge and in your own community. Work will also include the replacement of invasive plants with native species that help wildlife at the refuge thrive.

Gloves, trash bags, water and lunch are all provided. Please dress for changing weather, wear sturdy shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

Saturday, July 13, 10 am - 2 pm

Where: Please meet at the 28th Street Metro Transit Parking Lot where you will board a school bus for travel to the clean-up location. Free parking is available at the pick-up location.

Before You Go: A completed Volunteer Agreement is required to participate in this event. Please download the form here and bring it with you to the clean-up.
