Melissa oversees fund development, marketing, and communications for Conservation Corps of Minnesota and Iowa. In this role, she develops and executes fund development strategy, secures funding to advance the mission, raises public awareness, and continually seeks opportunities to expand community support for Corps programs and projects.

Melissa holds a MBA from the University of Houston, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Music from Illinois Wesleyan University. With over 18 years of nonprofit leadership experience, she brings expertise in fundraising, grant writing, marketing, and program development/evaluation. Outside of work, Melissa teaches fundraising workshops at Saint Paul College and volunteers as a Board Member of Friends of Ramsey County Libraries. She loves running, yoga, biking, being an auntie to her nephews James and Abel, and caring for her 17-year-old chihuahua named Sancho.
