Dorian Hasselmann, Central District Manager
Committed. Snarky. Late.
Dorian manages the 12 Young Adult Program Field Crews in the Twin Cities area. Dorian has been with the Conservation Corps for a combined total of 7 years and in the Corps world for 9! He started out as a Crew Leader in the Central District in 2007 and following his service year spent the next 2 years working with the Southwest Conservation Corps in Durango, CO and the Texas Conservation Corps in Austin TX.
Dorian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Education from the University of Minnesota. His favorite thing about working with the Corps is the variety of work. “Working with 18-25 year olds always brings in fresh personalities into the work place and because our programs focus on trainings we can often take on new and exciting projects for natural resource agencies. From aquatic invasive to new and emerging terrestrial invasive species, there is a wide variety of work that I can become involved in.”
Spare time doesn’t come often to Dorian, but when he has the chance he enjoys spending time with family, finding new music, running, playing disc golf and learning the incorrect way to perform home improvement projects.
