Andrew Dale, Central Field Coordinator
Thoughtful. Patient. Perceptive.
Andrew coordinates training and logistics for 12 AmeriCorps field crews in the Twin Cities metro area. He joined the Corps in 2011 as a crew member and in 2012 became a crew leader. Andrew’s professional experience includes a Bachelor’s degree in English and German from Hamline University and two and a half years with Tree Trust. He is also a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture.
Andrew has extensive experience in tree-felling operations, invasive species removal, rain garden construction/maintenance and chainsaw repair. His favorite thing about working with the Corps is helping our AmeriCorps members improve the quality and quantity of Minnesota’s natural resources. He also enjoys teaching them how to work safely and effectively with a wide range of equipment and approaches to conservation.
Outside of work, he enjoys rock climbing, traveling, and backpacking with his partner Lindsay and their dog, Samwise.
