As the Senior Accountant, Jim is responsible for financial reporting and analysis, general ledger reconciliations, invoicing and accounts receivable collection, accounting software selection and implementation. He has his Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a Social Science Composite and minor in Library Science from Winona State University. Jim is also a member of the National Association of Tax Prepares.
With over 20 years of experience, Jim brings a wealth of knowledge in financial software as well as understanding the complexities of offices with multiple sites. Jim admires Conservation Corps’ passion for helping young people learn about conserving and managing natural resources while also helping them find direction in life.
Jim is an accounting ninja, who likes to prepare income taxes because it is fun! Outside of work however, Jim enjoys archery, chess and reading. He is also an expert at milling oats into food ingredients and has a black belt in Karate!
