Sherry Sanchez Tibbetts

Vision-driven. Analytical. Collaborative.

Sherry works closely with program and development staff to manage the AmeriCorps grants portfolio, which generates over $7 million in annual revenue for the organization.  She ensures organizational effectiveness and compliance, helps set relevant policies and procedures, and provides technical assistance to program staff in Minnesota and Iowa. In this role, Sherry utilizes over 12 years’ experience in public and private grant management to serve as a connector for finance, development, and program staff.

Sherry is a graduate the University of Texas at Austin and St. Mary’s University School of Law and is certified in nonprofit accounting.  Outside of work, Sherry serves on the Community Advisory Committee for the University of Minnesota – Duluth School of Medicine, and is a past board member of the United Way of Carlton/Pine Counties and the Minnesota Coalition for Battered Women.  She enjoys running, photography, reading, and exploring new places.
