Plant with Youth Outdoors at Como Historic Bridge
Saturday, May 21
10 a.m.-12 p.m.
1224 N Lexington Parkway, Saint Paul (Streetcar Station)
Join Conservation Corps Minnesota youth in planting Prairie Dropseed at the historic Como Bridge near the rail car station on Saturday, May 21, 10 a.m. to noon. The newly renovated bridge needs some TLC on the four slopes surrounding the area. Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Gloves, planting tools and complementary water bottles will be provided. While Como Park is one of the most popular public spaces in Saint Paul for outdoor recreation, it also preserves and protects natural habitat and wildlife and promotes historic restoration. The event is made possible by the Saint Paul Garden Club. To volunteer, register below.
