Exceptional. Awe-Inspiring. Humble.
Kellie is responsible for leading the organization’s recruitment process, including strategic planning, developing recruitment strategies, overseeing the hiring process, identifying trends and straightening the pictures in the office on a constant basis (for recruitment purposes, of course). She started with the Corps in 2011 as a Central Field Crew member.
Kellie holds a B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in Drama from Washington University in St. Louis. She thinks her two degrees are completely related and doesn’t know what you’re talking about. Her professional experience includes working as a crew leader with the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota and as a Seasonal Wildlife Aide for Three Rivers Parks Department.
Her favorite thing about working with the Corps is interacting with our members and learning about their individual experiences. Outside of work Kellie enjoys writing, reading, running, sewing, kickboxing and knocking icicles off gutters.
