Conservation Apprentice Academy

Through the summer of 2018, the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund as recommended by the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources provided funding for the Conservation Apprenticeship Academy. The program, implemented by Conservation Corps, in partnership with BWSR, MASWCD and AmeriCorps, served to train and mentor future conservation professionals by providing apprenticeship service opportunities to Soil and Water Conservation Districts in Minnesota.

Conservation Corps Minnesota is actively seeking ways to continue to partner with SWCDs in a similar way. Corps staff will contact SWCDs that previously participated in this program with more information in late October 2018.

For immediate questions, please contact Hollis Emery at (651) 209-9900 x23.

NOTE: This is NOT in relation to Clean Water funding for Conservation Corps field crew projects. For information regarding the Clean Water Funding RFP, please click HERE.
