The South
-1994: This year there were more MCC crews in the South than ever before. Single crews were located at Ortonville, St. Peter, Nicollet, Windom, Lac Qui Parle State Park, Worthington, Montevidio, New Ulm, Lake City, Lewiston, Preston, and Caledonia. Multiple crews worked out of Marshall, Rochester, Winona, and for the Mississippi River Recovery Corps. MCC employed a total of 84 corpsmembers in southern Minnesota.

NASCC
-October 1994: Joe Alberio (Region 2 and 3 MCC Supervisor), Peter Hark (Regional Supervisor for Metro and Youth Programs), Jodi Dahl (Grand Rapids crew leader), and Skip Langer (Nicollet crew leader) attended the NASCC conference in Cleveland, OH. They attended corpsmember workshops and work projects. Skip said, "It was truly a motivational and educational weekend."

Wild Windom
Would you want a Christmas girt that makes your home messier, noiser, and smellier? Well, Doug Ekstrom of the Windom crew was surely delighted to get just that. He received a yellow lab pup, Gunnar, as a gift. Now two of the three crew members at Windom are proud lab pup owners. Jeff Clauson calls his "Blitz." Recall that the Windom crw all live at the same location and share the house with others. Here's the housing situation: 5 people, 4 dogs= one messy lawn!
