Deer Mapping Project in New Ulm
-Martha Minchak spent 9 months on a deer mapping project. She platted deer wintering and feeding areas onto maps of counties located in Southwestern Minnesota. Martha worked with Dave Ingebrigsten, a wildlife biologist stationed at the Farmland Wildlife Research Station.

-Tom Goodrich testifies before US House Subcommittee about MCC

MCC Grant allows for turkey research
-Beth Bean, a student a Gustavus, worked with the DNR on the turkey monitoring project that studied transplanted turkeys (from NY to MN). An MCC grant allowed for the monitoring to continue with tracking the birds so that data wouldn't be lost.
